This sweet little girl was so alert and happy to look around.  She was so mellow and I don’t think I heard her cry once.  After some gentle persuasion and daddy’s arms around her, she fell asleep for the rest of her shoot!  I dare you not to smile at this face:)

I was excited to meet this little guy because he was my contest winner!  He received the most votes for the “cutest kid” contest on facebook a couple of weeks ago!  It was fun to meet him and his family, and be able to photograph those very-talked-about-big-brown eyes of his!  He was also a delightful little explorer and we had fun watching him cruise around checking everything out.  This first set makes me laugh with his expressions:

I’m really in love with this last image.  The light, the dust floating through the air, the feeling of serenity.  Just for fun, the info on this:  taken at 2.8 f-stop, 1/500, ISO 800 at 6:15 in the evening.

This little guy was a doll baby–so happy & content.  18 months is such a fun age to capture–I love seeing kids at this age explore their world, babble, and toddle around happily.  And I almost fell over when I saw how cute their posed family picture turned out.  Umm, hello?  Can my kids and pets sit this contentedly for a picture?!?  :)  It was great to meet you guys!

I am SO excited to share these product pictures with you, especially the first ones because they are ones hanging in my very own house!!!!!  I so rarely take the time to print out let alone hang photos of my own kids so I was ecstatic when my very own canvas cluster arrived for a playroom makeover!  Let me assure you that I empathize completely with my client’s decision-making of photos because it took me forever to decide which photos to put into my cluster.  In the end I simply chose ones that make me smile.  Every time I look at them.  Whether its the memory or the story behind them or just the essence of “them”, I love the pictures now hanging up in our boys’ playroom.

Close-up view.  Hey, its basement lighting, but you can still get the idea and I think the cluster totally makes the whole room!  :)

{the words in the cluster are: laugh, play, love}

Besides canvas, another product that I’ve been selling like hotcakes lately is my black stand out mount.  They are especially popular for storyboards, but also look fantastic for single or cluster prints. The finished pieces seriously look like works of art and I love delivering them to clients:) Here is a recent delivery and I quickly snapped a picture before I left because I loved this particular set so much.  The two 11×14 close-ups will hang to one side of the larger 24×30.  They are a smooth luster finish print heat transferred to wood and finished with a beveled white or black edge.  *love*!

I’ll end with a tiny sneak peek of a hot new holiday product I’ll be offering:)
